Next Step Program – Empowering Adults with Disability in Ringwood
Adults with disability deserve every opportunity to build the life they choose. Our Next Step Program supports people aged 18+ to grow their skills, confidence, and independence through meaningful, self‑directed learning.
Participants set their own goals and choose the areas they want to develop, taking active steps toward their NDIS and personal aspirations. Our Team members provide guidance, structure, and encouragement every step of the way.
What You Can Learn and Explore
We offer a wide range of curriculum-based, skill‑building programs delivered both onsite and in the local community. Participants can engage in:
- Independent Living Skills and Cooking
- Travel Training and Community Safety
- Advocacy, Consent & Personal Safety
- Communication & Social Skills
- Health, Wellbeing, Sport & Fitness
- Digital Futures and Technology Skills
- Art & Creative Expression
- Volunteering & Community Participation
- Accredited and Pre‑Accredited Courses delivered in partnership with TAFE and Neighbourhood Houses
These programs are designed to build real‑world skills that support independence, community participation, and future pathways.

Who the Program Is Ideal For
The Next Step Program is suited to adults who want to grow their independence and confidence. It’s a great fit for people who:
- Want to build practical skills for employment, volunteering, or community involvement
- Are ready to strengthen daily living skills and participate more actively in their community
- Thrive when learning alongside others in a positive, structured group environment
- Have NDIS funding through Core Supports, Finding and Keeping a Job or School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES)
